Evindari Privacy Policy (Including CSAE Standards)

  1. Introduction

Evindari (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information and your rights under U.S., Canadian, and international privacy laws, including standards encouraged by the Canadian Society of Association Executives (CSAE).

  1. Information We Collect
  • Personal Information: Name, email, gender, date of birth, profile photos.
  • Usage Data: App interactions, device information, IP address.
  • Location Data: Only with your explicit consent.
  • Matchmaking & Profiling Data: Information used for automated matchmaking and profile recommendations.
  1. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, personalize, and improve our service offerings.
  • Facilitate matches using algorithms and automated profiling.
  • Communicate with you, including notifications and support.
  • Comply with relevant legal obligations.
  • Face data is deleted immediately after successful verification by Apple ID/Face ID and by Google ID/Face ID. Evindari does not allow third parties to retain or reuse face data for any other purpose.
  • The app does not collect facial geometry, facial recognition templates, biometric identifiers, or Face ID data.
  1. Biometric and Face Data

Evindari may collect a selfie image or short camera capture during account creation solely for the purpose of identity and liveness verification. This face data is used only to confirm that the user is a real person and to prevent fraudulent or fake accounts.

Evindari does not collect facial recognition templates, biometric identifiers, or Face ID data. Face data is not used for advertising, marketing, analytics, profiling, or tracking. Face data is processed securely and may be temporarily handled by trusted service providers strictly for verification purposes. All data is transmitted using encryption.

Face data is deleted immediately after verification or retained only for a short period necessary to complete verification and then permanently deleted.

Evindari does not sell, rent, or share face data for any commercial purpose.

  1. Compliance with Privacy Laws Including CSAE Guidelines
  • We adhere to Canadian privacy principles related to transparency, accountability, and user consent as advocated by CSAE.
  • For users in the EU/EEA, we comply with GDPR. You have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict processing, and data portability.
  • UK users are protected under the UK Data Protection Act with similar rights.
  • For Australian users and others, we comply with applicable laws and notify where full compliance is not feasible.
  1. Data Breach Notification

Should a data breach occur, Evindari commits to timely notifying affected users in accordance with applicable laws including Canadian breach notification laws, U.S. state laws, GDPR, and UK regulations. Notifications will detail breach nature, protective steps, and mitigation efforts.

  1. International Data Transfers

For Canadian and international residents, your data may be transferred internationally. We use Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or other approved mechanisms to ensure your data is protected to the high standards consistent with CSAE and international privacy norms.

  1. Automated Decision Making

We use AI and automated processes for matchmaking and recommendations. You have the right to request human review and explanations of automated decisions as protected under GDPR, UK law, and Canadian best practices.

  1. Security

We implement strong organizational and technical measures, including encryption and access controls, to safeguard your data. Though no system is completely secure, we regularly audit and enhance protections.

  1. Profile Authenticity and Fake Accounts

To protect the safety and trust of our community, all users must maintain an authentic profile, including a clear, recent photo of themselves and accurate personal information. Profiles that lack a real profile photo, contain false or misleading information, or otherwise appear fake or spam may be suspended or removed at our discretion, with or without notice. If you wish to remain on Evindari, you agree to keep your profile information truthful, current, and complete; failure to do so may result in termination of your account under these Terms.

  1. child sexual abuse

Evindari is committed to a zero-tolerance approach toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM) on our platform. If we obtain actual knowledge of CSAE or CSAM in connection with any Evindari account or content, we will take appropriate action, which may include removing the content, suspending or terminating the associated accounts, and using our in-app reporting and moderation tools to prevent further harm, in line with our published standards and applicable laws. Users can report inappropriate behavior, suspected CSAE, or CSAM directly through our in-app reporting mechanisms or by contacting our support team, and reported users may be removed from the platform after review.

Evindari self-certifies that it complies with applicable child safety laws and regulations in the regions where we operate, including maintaining a process to report confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children via the CyberTipline at https://report.cybertip.org/ or to another relevant regional authority, as required by local law. Where legally required, Evindari will cooperate with law enforcement and child protection organizations to support investigations into suspected child sexual exploitation or abuse.

  1. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you have rights to:

  • Access, correct, or delete personal data.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Request data portability.
  • Withdraw consent.
  • File complaints with regulatory authorities.
    These rights reflect CSAE’s commitment to privacy transparency and user empowerment.
  1. Data Retention

We retain data as long as needed to provide our services and comply with the law, generally up to seven years depending on jurisdiction.

Face verification data is deleted immediately after successful verification.
